Connect QuickBooks Online
Summance creates invoices directly in your QuickBooks Online company. Unlike the other integrations, there's nothing to create or copy - Summance already has an approved QuickBooks app, so connecting is a single approval.
Before you start
- You'll need to be signed in to your QuickBooks Online company as a user with permission to authorize apps - usually a company admin.
Connect your account
- From Summance, click Connect to QuickBooks.
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account if prompted.
- Review the permissions on the consent screen and clickConnect.
- You're redirected back to Summance, now connected.
What Summance does with the connection
Summance confirms the connection by reading your company information once, then keeps the access you granted refreshed automatically - you won't be asked to reconnect unless you revoke access. Summance uses the connection only to create invoices in your QuickBooks company. Summance tags each invoice-creation call with an idempotency key, so a retry after a network hiccup isn't treated as a new invoice.
Disconnecting
Disconnect any time from Summance's Integrations page, or from QuickBooks under Apps → Connected apps. Either one cuts off access immediately.
